Coaches can submit an athlete for consideration if their state meet performance was not representative of their senior season. To be considered, athletes must meet the time standards at a championship race (Conference meet/equivalent or district meet). This form is due no later than November 25th. If selected, the athlete will then need to register for the race.
Senior All-Star Race
The Senior All-Star race was established by the WSCCCA to recognize the accomplishments of graduating seniors who have excelled in the sport of cross country. The All-Star team is made up of the top graduating male and female runners from all five WIAA high school classifications.
The 2024 race will be held on Saturday, December 7th at Magnuson Park in Seattle and will be run in conjunction with the Club Northwest Winter Grand Prix Racing Series. The course is a 2-mile road race course that traverses Magnuson Park around the shores of Lake Washington. Start time for the race will be at 9:00 am.
All competing athletes will receive a complimentary All-Star racing singlet upon check-in to wear during the race.
All selected athletes must complete registration at this link by Thursday, December 5th at noon to compete in the race.
Congratulations to our 2023 Senior All-Star Participants!
Each year, several scholarships are awarded to senior cross-country athletes who excel in academics, school, and community service. These scholarships recognize outstanding sportsmanship and integrity.
Coaches are invited to recommend deserving senior cross-country runners based on their contributions to the sport.
